Grief Counseling

Grief counseling provides compassionate support for individuals navigating the emotional pain and life changes that come with loss. Grief can arise from many experiences, including the death of a loved one, divorce, miscarriage, chronic illness, life transitions, or other significant losses. Because grief looks different for everyone, counseling offers a safe and supportive space to process emotions at your own pace without judgment.

In therapy, clients are encouraged to explore feelings such as sadness, anger, guilt, confusion, anxiety, or numbness while learning healthy ways to cope with the impact of loss. Grief counseling can help individuals better understand their emotions, adjust to changes in daily life, strengthen coping skills, and find ways to move forward while still honoring their loved one or experience.

The goal of grief counseling is not to “move on” or forget the loss, but to help clients find healing, meaning, and hope as they learn to carry their grief in a healthy and supported way.
